I am attorney Randal W. Hooper. I am a criminal defense and personal injury attorney with offices in Walnut Creek, Calif. I have practiced law for over 30 years in the greater SF Bay Area. I began my practice as a county prosecutor in Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in 1980 and started my own criminal law practice in 1985. As a sole practitioner, I expanded my practice to represent clients regarding all kinds of accidents and civil rights violations resulting in minor to catastrophic injuries, psychiatric harm and wrongful death. I have successfully represented clients in all types of criminal law cases, serious personal injury, wrongful death and civil rights actions throughout the state. I provide sophisticated, aggressive and compassionate advice and representation for my clients.
I personally handle all of my cases and offer my clients the personal attention which enables them to communicate their needs and goals directly to me. I have developed a reputation for providing my clients with the honest answers they need to properly assess their situation, and I am regarded as a “straight shooter” who is trusted by judges, prosecutors and opposing trial lawyers.
I provide free initial consultations in all civil and criminal defense matters. If retained on a civil case, I receive no fee unless I obtain a recovery. I charge reasonable fees in criminal defense cases and treat my clients as I would want to be treated myself--with care, courtesy and understanding.
